Julius Randle's Shockingly Honest Quote After Knicks Lost Game 4

Julius Randle met with the media after the New York Knicks lost Game 4.

On Monday evening, the New York Knicks lost Game 4 of their second-round playoff series to the Miami Heat in Florida by a score of 109-101.

With the loss, the Knicks are now in a 3-1 hole in the series, going back to Madison Square Garden for Game 5 on Wednesday evening.

After the game, All-Star forward Julius Randle met with the media and shared an honest quote that is going viral on Twitter.

Reporter: "Julius, you guys haven't been able to get the amount of offensive rebounds and loose balls that you were in the Cleveland series. Just what have they done to kind of beat you at your own game almost?"

Randle: "Maybe they want it more. I don't know. That's been who we are all year, and we've gotta find a way to step up and make those plays if we want to keep this season alive."

Randle finished the game with 20 points, nine rebounds and three assists while shooting 8/13 from the field in 39 minutes of playing time.

In the first round, the Knicks pulled off an upset over the Cleveland Cavaliers, beating them in just five games.

However, the Heat have been a significant challenge and are tough to beat in Miami (4-0 during the 2023 NBA Playoffs).

This is Randle's fourth season playing for the Knicks, and he has helped them make the playoffs in two out of their last three seasons (and win their first playoff series since 2013).

If the Knicks win on Wednesday evening, Game 6 will be back in Miami on Friday night.
