Kevin Durant's Exchange With Fans Went Viral Before Suns-Mavs Game

Kevin Durant had an exchange with fans before Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Phoenix Suns are playing the Dallas Mavericks in Texas. 

As the Suns ran out for warmups, 2014 MVP Kevin Durant was seen exchanging words with fans who heckled him.   

Jonah Javad of WFAA caught the interaction on video. 

Javad captioned his two videos: "Mavs fan calls Kevin Durant “a b*tch” and KD pauses to have words.

Security about to kick the fans out when KD comes back to tell them not to kick them out." 

Thankfully, nothing escalated, and the fans appeared to be able to stay in the arena. 

Durant entered the evening with averages of 28.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 53.8% from the field and 44.3% from the three-point range in 48 games. 

He is 35 but still playing some of the best basketball of his career and was an All-Star for the 14th time.  

As for the Suns, they came into the matchup with the Mavs as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 33-22 record in 55 games.  

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Mavs, the Suns will travel to Houston for a showdown with the Rockets on Friday evening. 

Meanwhile, the Mavs are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 32-23 record in 55 games.  

Following the Suns, they will head to Indianapolis for a matchup with Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
