Kevin Durant Made Incredible NBA History In Suns-Magic Game

Kevin Durant made NBA history during Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns faced off against the Orlando Magic in Florida. 

The Magic won by a score of 113-98, and Paolo Banchero led the team with 26 points and seven assists. 

Despite the loss, Durant made exciting NBA history during the game. 

The 2014 MVP became the tenth player to reach 28,000 career points.

In addition to Durant, the other nine players are LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Dirk Nowitzki, Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O'Neal and Carmelo Anthony. 

Durant finished his night with 15 points, four rebounds, five assists and one block while shooting 7/12 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.  

With the loss, the Suns fell to 26-20 in their first 46 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak but are still 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Magic, the Suns will face off against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat on Monday evening in Florida. 

As for the Magic, they improved to 24-22 in their first 46 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and 15-7 in the 22 games they have played on their home floor in Orlando. 

Following the Suns, the Magic will face off against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Monday evening in Texas.
