Kevin Durant's Viral Quote After Kings-Suns Game

Kevin Durant met with the media after Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Phoenix Suns hosted the Sacramento Kings in Arizona.

In the fourth quarter, the Suns went on a 32-8 run to complete a massive 22-point comeback and win by a score of 119-117. 

All five starters scored in double-digits, and Grayson Allen led the team with 29 points. 

Kevin Durant had a good game, putting up 27 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks while shooting 7/16 from the field and 4/8 from the three-point range in 39 minutes of playing time.  

After the game, the 2014 MVP met with the media, and one of his quotes went viral on social media.  

Durant: "My purpose of being a human being is to be the greatest basketball player I can be. That's the reason why I'm alive at this point, so I gotta lock in on every aspect of the game and become great at it."

Durant is now averaging 28.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 52.4% from the field and 47.1% from the three-point range in 33 games.  

With the victory, the Suns improved to 22-18 in their first 40 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.

Following the Kings, the Suns will visit Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday evening. 

As for the Kings, they dropped to 23-17 in their first 40 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
