Key Player Ejected From Bulls-Lakers Game

Nikola Vucevic has been ejected from Sunday's game.

On Sunday afternoon, the Chicago Bulls are in California facing off with the Los Angeles Lakers.

At the end of the first half, two-time NBA All-Star Nikola Vucevic got ejected from the game after receiving two technical fouls.

He is one of the best players on the Bulls, so they will be shorthanded for the final two quarters.

Vucevic exits the contest with four points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 15 minutes of playing time.

The Bulls had a 63-55 lead at halftime, and Zach LaVine led the way with 15 points in 17 minutes.

Coming into the matchup, the Bulls were the tenth seed (the final play-in tournament spot) in the Eastern Conference with a 35-38 record in 73 games.

In 2022, they made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2017 season, so they have been disappointing this year.

Vucevic is in his third season playing for the franchise and is averaging a very productive 17.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per contest while shooting 51.4% from the field.

As for the Lakers, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-37 record in 74 games.
