Klay Thompson's Honest Reaction To Spurs-Warriors Game

Klay Thompson met with the media after Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors hosted the San Antonio Spurs at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Both teams played without their best players, as Steph Curry and Victor Wembanyama were both ruled out.

The Spurs won by a score of 126-113, and Keldon Johnson led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 27 points, two rebounds, one assist and one block while shooting 8/16 from the field and 5/10 from the three-point range in only 25 minutes of playing time.

After the loss, he met with the media and gave an honest reaction (h/t Warriors on NBCS).

Thompson: "Just a bad loss, though. Just not good. But will flush it and bounce back Monday."

While the Warriors played without Curry, the Spurs are the worst team in the Western Conference, so it's a game they should have had on their home floor.

With the victory, the Spurs improved to 14-50 in 64 games and snapped a two-game losing streak.

The Warriors dropped to 33-30 in 63 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and have gone 6-4 over their last ten games.

Following Saturday's matchup, the Spurs will host the Warriors on Monday evening in San Antonio.

Thompson is averaging 17.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 42.3% from the field and 38.1% from the three-point range in 60 games (51 starts).
