On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors hosted the Brooklyn Nets at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

During the game, Klay Thompson made NBA history by moving ahead of Jason Terry (2,282) for ninth on the all-time three-pointers list.

Following Terry, the next player for Thompson to pass will be Vince Carter (2,290).

@KlayThompson has passed Jason Terry for the 9th most regular-season threes in NBA history!"

Thompson finished his night with 24 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal while shooting 7/19 from the field and 4/9 from the three-point range in 36 minutes of playing time.

He is now averaging 16.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 40.5% from the field and 36.8% from the three-point range in 24 games.

The Warriors won the game by a score of 124-120, which snapped a three-game losing streak.

They are now 11-14 in their first 25 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

Steph Curry led the team with 37 points, three rebounds, one assist and three blocks while shooting 14/22 from the field and 6/8 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Following the Nets, the Warriors will now go to Portland to face off against the Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Thompson is in his 11th season playing in the NBA (all with the Warriors) and has helped lead the franchise to four NBA Championships (and the Finals six times since 2015).
