On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.

The Warriors were playing without two-time MVP Steph Curry and lost the game by a score of 129-118.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 33 points, nine rebounds and five assists in 37 minutes of playing time.

Klay Thompson, who finished the night with 21 points, three rebounds and three assists, made exciting NBA history during the game.

The five-time NBA All-Star moved ahead of LeBron James (2,338) for seventh on the all-time three-pointers list

Following James, the next player for Thompson to pass will be Kyle Korver (2,450).

Thompson got off to a slow start to the season but has played better as of late and is averaging 17.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 42.5% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range in 38 games.

With the loss, the Warriors fell to 18-21 in their first 39 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference.

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and 7-10 in the 17 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center.

Following the Bucks, the Warriors will have two more games on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies (on Monday in Tennessee) and Utah Jazz (on Wednesday in Salt Lake City).
