Klay Thompson Made NBA History In Warriors-Celtics Game

On Sunday afternoon, the Golden State Warriors are playing Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.
Five-time NBA All-Star Klay Thompson came off the bench for the eighth straight game and went into halftime with six points, two rebounds and one assist while shooting 2/4 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range in 12 minutes of playing time.
During the game, Thompson made NBA history by becoming just the seventh player to make 2,400 career three-pointers.
The next player for him to pass on the all-time three-pointers list will be Kyle Korver (2,450).

Thompson entered the day with averages of 17.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 42.0% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range in 56 games.
The Warriors are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 32-27 record in 59 games.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games.
Most recently, the Warriors beat the Toronto Raptors by a score of 120-105, and Thompson had 14 points, seven rebounds, one assist and two steals while shooting 5/13 from the field and 4/9 from the three-point range.
After Sunday's game with Boston, they will conclude their road trip and return home to host Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday evening at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
