Kristaps Porzingis Sent Out 2 Tweets After Getting Traded

Kristaps Porzingis sent out two tweets after getting traded from the Washington Wizards to the Boston Celtics.

On Wednesday evening, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis would be traded to the Boston Celtics as part of a three-team deal that also included the Washington Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies.

Porzingis is one of the most uniquely talented players in the league and now joins a roster that already features All-Star forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

Following the massive news, Porzingis sent out two tweet that went viral on Twitter.

Porzingis' first tweet"saying goodbye is always tough. Wizards org, my teammates, staff, coaches, everyone at capital one and the facility thank you! Going to miss yall! Wiz Fans!! Thank you for showing me so much support, I truly appreciate it and ejoyed every night playing in front of you. Wishing you all success as I embark on the next chapter of my career."

Porzingis' second tweet: "☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️ lets goooo"

Porzingis finished last season with impressive averages of 23.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 blocks per contest while shooting 49.8% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range.

That said, the Wizards were unable to make the NBA Playoffs for the second straight season.

In addition to playing for Washington, Porzingis has also spent time with the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks.

At 27, he is still young enough that it's possible for him to get even better as he enters his prime.

The Celtics have been among the elite teams in the NBA for nearly a decade but haven't won a title since the 2008 season.

They are coming off a year where they finished as the second seed in the Eastern Conference and lost to the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Conference Finals.

Underdog NBA relaid the full details of the blockbuster trade.
