On Sunday evening, the Boston Celtics lost to the Miami Heat (on the road in Florida) by a score of 128-102 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

With the loss, they are now in an 0-3 hole in the series and will need a victory on Tuesday night in Miami to avoid being swept.

The Celtics are the second seed in the Eastern Conference and coming off a season where they made the NBA Finals.

They have one of the best rosters in the league, so their poor play has been a significant surprise to the NBA world.

Following Game 3, Hall of Famer Magic Johnson sent out several bold tweets about the Celtics.

Johnson: "In my 44 years of being associated with the NBA I never thought I’d see a Boston Celtics team, a franchise with 17 Championships, quit. I know Celtics fans all over the world must be disgusted and devastated. The Miami Heat blew them out 128-102 in Game 3."

Johnson: "It’s time for the Boston Celtics to make major changes."

Johnson has been active on Twitter during the NBA Playoffs, giving opinions after games.

He is one of the most notable players in the league's history and has over 5.3 million followers on his account

Gabe Vincent led the Heat with a game-high 29 points, while no one on the Celtics scored more than 14.

The winner of the series will advance to the 2023 NBA Finals and face off against either the Denver Nuggets or the Los Angeles Lakers.
