Luka Doncic's Viral Instagram Post After NBA All-Star Game
On Sunday evening, Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic played in his fifth career NBA All-Star Game.
He had seven points, seven rebounds and seven assists while shooting 3/10 from the field and 1/6 from the three-point range in 23 minutes of playing time.
However, the Western Conference lost by a score of 211-186.
Doncic made a post to Instagram with photos from the All-Star Game that had over 382,000 likes in less than two days.
Doncic captioned his post: "5x! 🔥 always a pleasure! #AllStar"
The 24-year-old also made another post with several photos from the weekend that had over 615,000 likes in less than two days.
Doncic captioned his post: "#0077 😎"
Doncic is in the middle of another sensational season with averages of 34.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 9.5 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 49.2% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range in 47 games.
He also scored a career-high 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks in January.
As for the Mavs, they are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 32-23 record in 55 games.
They are 7-3 over their last ten games and went into the All-Star break riding a six-game winning streak.
On Thursday evening, the Mavs will return to action when they visit Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in Arizona.
Doncic led the Mavs to the Western Conference Finals in 2022, but they are coming off a season where they missed the NBA playoffs (and play-in tournament).
