On Thursday evening, the Dallas Cowboys hosted the Washington Commanders in Texas.

The Cowboys dominated the game the entire night and won by a score of 45-10.

After the game, Hall of Famer (and Los Angeles Lakers legend) Magic Johnson sent out a post on X that went viral (Johnson is a co-owner of the Commanders).

His post had over 12,000 likes and 2.4 million impressions.

Johnson wrote: "The Dallas Cowboys beat my Commanders 45-10. Dallas was a better football team tonight, plain and simple."

With the victory, the Cowboys improved to 8-3 in 11 games, and they are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

They are also a perfect 5-0 at home and in second place in the NFC East.

Following the Commanders, they will play their next game on Thursday evening when they host the Seattle Seahawks.

Meanwhile, the Commanders dropped to 4-8 in 12 games and are now in the middle of a three-game losing streak.

They are 3-4 in the seven games they have played on the road and will play their next game on Sunday when they host the Miami Dolphins.

Currently, the Commanders are in third place in the NFC East.

As for Johnson, he is among the 15 greatest basketball players ever and arguably the best point guard to ever play.

The five-time NBA Champion played 13 seasons (all with the Lakers) and has career averages of 19.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 11.2 assists and 1.9 steals per contest in 906 regular season games.
