Marcus Smart's Viral Tweet After Celtics Beat 76ers

Marcus Smart sent out a tweet after the Boston Celtics won Game 3.

On Friday evening, the Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers on the road by a score of 114-102 in Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.  

After losing Game 1 on their home floor in Boston, the Celtics have won two games in a row by double-digits and now have a 2-1 lead in the series.  

Jayson Tatum led the team with 25 points and ten rebounds, and the entire starting lineup scored 13+ points.  

2022 Defensive Player of The Year Marcus Smart played 34 minutes and had 15 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals.   

After the big win, he sent out a tweet that is getting a lot of traction on Titter. 

The former Oklahoma State star quote tweeted a video the Celtics posted from the locker room and he made a joke about his high-five with Tatum. 

Via Smart: "May not have right hand tomorrow. Thx @jaytatum0"

Smart was the sixth pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and has spent his entire career with the Celtics.  

He's helped them make the Eastern Conference Finals in four out of the previous six seasons and is one of their leaders.

Through the first nine games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, the 29-year-old is averaging 15.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals per contest.

Game 4 will be back in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Conference Finals and face off against either the Miami Heat or the New York Knicks.
