Ja Morant's Cryptic Post On X Is Going Viral

Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies) sent out a post on X.

Ja Morant has become one of the best (and most popular) players in the NBA.

He has grown a large following on X (formerly Twitter) of over 2.7 million followers.

On Friday afternoon, the Memphis Grizzlies superstar sent out a post on X that is going viral.

His post had over 500,000 impressions and 7,000 likes in less than two hours.

Morant: "y’all just be talkin"

Morant turned off the comments so that only people he follows are permitted to comment, and it's unclear what the 24-year-old is referring to in the post.

That said, there was a viral discussion (on Thursday) about New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson being a better player than Morant (right now).

The bold take was first made by Jason Timpf of Hoops Tonight on The Volume

NBACentral posted the quote from Timpf, and the post had over 16,000 likes and nearly four million impressions in less than 30 hours.

Last year, Morant played in 61 regular season games and averaged an outstanding 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 30.7% from the three-point range.

The Grizzlies finished as the second seed in the Western Conference with a 51-31 record.

Morant appeared in five NBA playoff games, and the Grizzlies lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.

Heading into the 2023-24 season, Morant will miss the first 25 games due to a suspension from the NBA (he was also suspended for eight games last season).
