Miami Heat Legends Share Special Moment Before Game 3

Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler shared a special moment before Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

On Wednesday evening, Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat are hosting the Denver Nuggets for Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Florida.

Butler has become one of the best players in the history of the franchise, as he has led them to the Finals two times (and Eastern Conference Finals three times) in the previous four seasons.

Before Game 3, the six-time NBA All-Star shared a special moment with Heat legend Dwyane Wade.

The two were seen giving each other an extended hug while Wade spoke in his ear.

Wade helped lead the Heat to the Finals five times, winning three NBA Championships over 15 seasons with the organization.

The 13-time NBA All-Star leads the team in an abundance of all-time categories, including points, assists, minutes played and field goals.

He retired following the 2019 season, and Butler signed with the Heat that summer.

Currently, the Heat are tied up at 1-1 with the Nuggets after splitting Games 1 and 2 of the series at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

They are in the middle of one of the most spectacular runs in postseason history and are only the second 8th seed ever to reach the NBA Finals.

Through the first three rounds of the Playoffs, the Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics (and the Chicago Bulls in the play-in tournament).

Game 4 of the series will be played on Friday night before the teams head back to Denver for Game 5 on Monday.
