FINAL UPDATE: Mikal Bridges' Status For 76ers-Nets Game

Mikal Bridges is questionable for Saturday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: Mikal Bridges is available.

On Saturday night, the Brooklyn Nets are hosting the Philadelphia 76ers at Barclays Center in New York.

For the game, their new star forward Mikal Bridges is listed as questionable to make his debut.

Bridges was sent to the Nets in the blockbuster trade that landed the Phoenix Suns with 13-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant.

The former Villanova star is in his fifth season in the league and had spent his entire career with Phoenix.

Right now, he is averaging 17.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 56 games.

The 26-year-old is also shooting 46.3% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range.

For the Nets, he is a great pickup and can be one of their core players to build around for the next decade.

He has helped the Suns become one of the best teams in the NBA over each of the last two seasons (they made the NBA Finals in 2021).

The Nets come into the evening with a 33-22 record in 55 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 17-10 in the 27 games they have hosted at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Meanwhile, the 76ers are the third seed in the east with a 35-19 record in 54 games.

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and an impressive 14-11 in the 25 games they have played on the road away from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
