Minnesota Timberwolves Make Roster Move Before Jazz Game

The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed T.J. Warren to another 10-day contract.

On Saturday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Salt Lake City to face off against the Utah Jazz. 

Before the game, the Timberwolves announced that they had signed T.J. Warren to a second 10-day contract. 

Warren has appeared in four games for the Timberwolves and is averaging 4.8 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field.

Warren spent last season playing for the Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns. 

He averaged 7.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest while shooting 48.9% from the field and 32.8% from the three-point range. 

The former NC State star was the 14th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and is in his ninth season. 

In addition to the Suns, Nets and Timberwolves, he has also spent time with the Indiana Pacers. 

The 30-year-old has career averages of 14.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field and 35.2% from the three-point range in 378 regular season games. 

He has also appeared in ten NBA playoff games (four starts). 

As for the Timberwolves, they are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 45-21 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently beat Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 118-100. 

Following Saturday's game, the Timberwolves and Jazz will face off (again) on Monday evening in Salt Lake City.
