On Monday evening, the Golden State Warriors lost to the short-handed Memphis Grizzlies (in Tennessee) by a score of 116-107.

The Warriors committed 25 fouls and 19 turnovers and lost the fourth quarter by 11 points.

With the loss, they dropped to 18-22 in their first 40 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference.

On Tuesday, NBA Champion Kendrick Perkins (via ESPN's First Take) said that he thinks the Warriors need to make a significant change to the roster.

Perkins: "You cannot have your emotions and feelings tied for so long and that's what we're seeing right now with the Golden State Warriors. Right, their emotions are in place. They're saying we're so emotionally attached to Klay Thomson, we're so emotionally attached to Draymond Green. When the fact of the matter is, both of them need to be traded. Both of them. Klay and Dray."

Thompson is currently averaging 17.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest while shooting 42.4% from the field and 38.6% from the three-point range in 39 games.

Meanwhile, Green has averages of 9.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest while shooting 49.1% from the field and 44.2% from the three-point range in 16 games.

Following the Grizzlies, the Warriors will play the final game of their road trip on Wednesday evening when they face off against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

On the road, they are 7-11 in the 18 games they have played away from the Chase Center.
