On Thursday night, the Brooklyn Nets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in their final preseason game before the regular season starts next week.

The final score was 107-101, and the Nets ended their preseason on a good note at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

They finished the preseason with a 3-1 record.

Joe Harris had a team-high 23 points, but it was James Harden's 14 assists that was most impressive on the evening.

After the game, Harden Tweeted out several photos, and the Tweet from the 2018 NBA MVP can be seen in a post that is embedded below from his Twitter account.

Harden began his career on the Oklahoma City Thunder, and then spent nearly nine years with the Houston Rockets before being traded to the Nets in during last year's regular season.

During the 2020-21 season, he averaged an outstanding 24.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 10.8 assists per game in 44 games with the Rockets and Nets.

He also made his ninth trip to the All-Star game.
