New York Knicks Reportedly Looking To Trade This Player?

According to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, "reps of Evan Fournier are working to find a trade."

On Thursday evening, the 2023 NBA Draft will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

At this time of the year, rumors around the NBA pick up steam, and one of the most recent reports comes from Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News

Via Bondy: "Not a surprise but source says reps of Evan Fournier are working to find a trade. Fournier on the record saying he'd be surprised if he's a Knick to start next season. He's owed roughly $18.9 million next season with a $19 million team option for 2024-25."

Fournier finished his first season playing for the New York Knicks with averages of 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest over 27 regular season games (he only averaged 17.0 minutes of playing time).

The Knicks made the second round of the NBA Playoffs (for the first time since the 2013 season), beating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round and losing to the Miami Heat (Fournier did not play in any games during the postseason).

In addition to the Knicks, the 30-year-old has spent time playing for the Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics.

Fournier has always been a talented scorer, averaging over 15 points per contest six times during his 11-year career.

The former first-round pick has also shot 40% from the three-point range three different times (37.9% for his career).

His salary won't make a deal easy, but there is no question Fournier could help plenty of teams.
