Nikola Jokic's Dagger Is Going Viral In Nuggets-Pacers Game

Nikola Jokic made the dagger to seal the win for the Nuggets.

On Tuesday evening, the Denver Nuggets faced off against the Indiana Pacers (in Indianapolis).  

The game was extremely close, but the Nuggets won by a score of 114-109.

With six seconds left (and the Nuggets up 111-109), two-time MVP Nikola Jokic calmly hit the dagger to seal the victory. 

His three-pointer ended up being the final points of the game. 

Jokic finished his night with 31 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists and one block while shooting 13/19 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time. 

With the win, the Nuggets improved to 31-14 in their first 45 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are now 14-10 in the 24 games they have played on the road away from Denver.  

Following the Pacers, the Nuggets will travel to Manhattan to face off against Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on Thursday evening at Madison Square Garden.

As for the Pacers, they dropped to 24-20 in their first 44 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 11-12 in the 23 games they have hosted at home in Indiana.  

Following the Nuggets, the Pacers will remain at home to host Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday evening. 

Jokic is averaging 26.2 points, 12.0 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest.
