Nikola Jokic's Hilarious Quote Went Viral After Bucks-Nuggets Game
On Monday evening, the Denver Nuggets hosted Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in Colorado.
The matchup was competitive, but they were able to come away with a 113-107 victory.
After the game, Nikola Jokic met with the media earlier than usual.
Reporter: "Nikola, why did you want to come out so early to talk to us today?"
Jokic: "Because I have things to do."
The entire media room burst out laughing following his response.
Jokic finished his night with 25 points, 16 rebounds, 12 assists, three steals and two blocks while shooting 10/25 from the field and 1/6 from the three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.
In addition to Jokic's dominant night, Jamal Murray had 35 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals while shooting 13/22 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time.
With the victory, the Nuggets improved to 33-15 in their first 48 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.
At home, the Nuggets are an incredible 19-4 in 23 games.
Jokic is in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 26.3 points, 12.1 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 58.5% from the field and 35.8% from the three-point range in 47 games.
The Nuggets will now travel to Oklahoma City to face off against Chet Holmgren and the Thunder on Wednesday evening.
