Nikola Jokic Made NBA History In Timberwolves-Nuggets Game 2 On Wednesday Night

Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic made history in Denver's 122-113 Game 2 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

Nikola Jokic has proven over the years that he is one of the best all-around offensive players not just in the league today, but in league history!

Maybe the Denver Nuggets star will not win his third consecutive MVP award this season, but Jokic has bigger things on his mind in terms of competing for a championship.

On Wednesday night, Jokic and the Nuggets pulled a game closer to their ultimate goal this season, as they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 122-113 to pull ahead 2-0 in their first-round series. In this game, Jokic had 27 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists, making a little bit of NBA history in the process.

Playing in his 50th career postseason game on Wednesday against Minnesota, Nikola Jokic became the first player in NBA history to average 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists through his first 50 career postseason games.

For his career, Jokic is now averaging 26.2 points, 11.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game in the playoffs.

He may not be the most athletics player in the league, nor the best scoring weapon, but Nikola Jokic just understands the game better than everyone else on the floor and his passing abilities are really what sets him apart.

Now leading the Timberwolves 2-0 in their first-round playoff series, the Nuggets will head to Minnesota for Games 3 and 4. Game 3 of this series will take place on Friday night.
