Oklahoma City Thunder Make A Roster Move

The Oklahoma City Thunder have made a roster move.

On Sunday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Phoenix Suns by a score of 111-99 (on the road) in Arizona.

All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 35 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 35 minutes of playing time.

Ousmane Dieng, who played six minutes in the game, has now been assigned to the G League.

Via Ryan Stiles of Locked on Thunder: "The Oklahoma City Thunder has assigned forward Ousmane Dieng to the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA G League.

The Blue welcome in the Hustle tonight for their home opener."

Dieng has played in ten games so far this season and is averaging 3.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 38.2% from the field and 28.0% from the three-point range.

He was the 11th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and is in his second season in the NBA (all with the Thunder).

Last year, Dieng played in 11 G League Showcase Cup Games and averaged 15.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 44.9% form the field and 34.3% from the three-point range (he also appeared in nine regular season games).

The Thunder are 6-4 in their first ten games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

They will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host the San Antonio Spurs in Oklahoma City.

At home, the Thunder are 3-3 in six games played at the Paycom Center.
