The Chicago Bulls have one of the best rosters in the Eastern Conference but ultimately underperformed during the 2022-23 NBA season.

After making the NBA Playoffs in 2022 (for the first time since 2017), they finished as the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference and lost to the Miami Heat in the play-in tournament.

During the season, the Bulls signed veteran guard Patrick Beverley, and the team clearly played better with him on the roster.

That said, the 34-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, so it's unclear if he will be back with the franchise next year.

On Wednesday evening, Beverley shared a bold statement on Twitter insinuating he would like to re-sign with the Bulls.

A Twitter account wrote"I wish the Bulls would do something #BullsNation

Beverley quote tweeted the post and wrote: "Team is solid. #RunItBack"

Beverley began his season with the Los Angeles Lakers, and in total, he averaged 6.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest while shooting 40.0% from the field over 67 regular season games.

In addition to the Lakers and Bulls, he has also spent time with the Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

While he is no longer in his prime, Beverley is still seen as a good defender and an influential leader for a locker room.

The Bulls have one of the most talented starting lineups in the league with DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, who combined to average 49.3 points per contest this past year.
