On Monday night, the Chicago Bulls defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 109-105 on the road in double overtime.

Derrick Jones Jr. finished the game with ten points, three rebounds, one assist and one block.

His block on 2018 MVP James Harden helped seal the win for the Bulls, who are now on a three-game winning streak.

After the big victory, Patrick Beverley sent out a tweet

His post has over 6,000 likes and 250,000 impressions in less than 24 hours.

Beverley tweeted: "Good team WIN tonight. #DJones was the MVP"

The veteran point guard signed with the Bulls in the middle of the season and has been a massive addition to the roster.

He finished the game with six points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 40 minutes of playing time.

While his play has been solid, the biggest thing that Beverley appears to give the Bulls is leadership.

He is an excellent defender and a very vocal player.

The Bulls are 34-37 in 71 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference (the final play-in tournament spot).

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and will face off with the 76ers again on Wednesday (this time at home in Chicago).

Last season, the Bulls made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2017, so this year has been disappointing.

That said, if they get into the play-in tournament, they will still have an excellent chance to make the 2023 playoffs.
