The Phoenix Suns have been one of the best teams in the NBA over the last two years.

After missing the postseason for ten straight seasons, they made the NBA Finals in 2021, and last season they had the best record (64-18) in the league.

Recently, the Suns traded for 13-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, so they are now on everyone's radar as being the possible 2023 NBA Champions.

On Wednesday, they got even better, as the team officially announced the signing of 11-year veteran Terrence Ross.

Ross had spent part of seven seasons with the Orlando Magic (before being bought out of his contract) and is currently averaging 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest in 42 games (while shooting 38.1% from the three-point range).

He will be an excellent addition to their bench, as he has the ability to get scorching hot.

Over 712 regular season games (for his career), he has only started 187 times.

Therefore, he is the perfect role player to add to a contending team like the Suns.

In addition, the 32-year-old has played in 41 NBA Playoff games, so he has experience in big games.

Right now, the Suns are 32-27 in 59 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 in their last ten games.

On Thursday evening, the Suns will play their next game when they host the Los Angeles Clippers in Arizona.
