BREAKING: 76ers, Trail Blazers And Hornets Make A Three-Team Trade

The Portland Trail Blazers, Charlotte Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers have made a three-team deal involving Jalen McDaniels and Matisse Thybulle.

The Philadelphia 76ers have made Matisse Thybulle available in trade talks recently and the Portland Trail Blazers are closing in on a deal to acquire the former first-round pick.

The Charlotte Hornets are also involved in said deal, as ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Hornets forward Jalen McDaniels is heading to Philadelphia and Matisse Thybulle is heading to Portland.

Adrian Wojnarowski: "The Trail Blazers are acquiring the 76ers' Matisse Thybulle as a part of a three-way with Charlotte, sources tell ESPN.

"The Sixers are getting Jalen McDaniels in the deal, source tells ESPN."

Thybulle has been a key part of the 76ers rotation since being drafted in 2019 and now, he will be joining the Portland Trail Blazers, who have been searching for ways to add depth on the wing, particularly a player that could make a difference for them defensively.

Playing in a total of 49 games this season for Philadelphia, Thybulle has averaged 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game while shooting 33.3 percent from three-point range.

As for the 76ers, Jalen McDaniels is a young forward that has been having a career-year with the Hornets.

In 56 total games with the Hornets this season, McDaniels has averaged 10.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 44.7 percent from the floor.

There will likely be added draft compensation attached to this deal, especially on Charlotte's end of things seeing as they are giving up Jalen McDaniels.
