Rudy Gobert's Instagram Post After Timberwolves-Nets Game

Rudy Gobert made a post to Instagram after Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves faced off against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center in New York.  

The game was extremely close, but the Timberwolves were able to come away with a 96-94 victory.   

Karl-Anthony Towns led the way with 27 points and ten rebounds. 

Rudy Gobert also had a good game and finished his night with ten points, 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks while shooting 4/9 from the field in 33 minutes of playing time.  

After the victory, Gobert made a post to Instagram.  

Gobert captioned his post: "What we do in life… Echoes in eternity. 🙏🏽🐉🔒"

Gobert is in his second season with the Timberwolves and is currently averaging 13.2 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 62.9% from the field in 44 games.  

He has helped the team get off to an excellent start to the season, as they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 32-13 record in their first 45 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Nets, the Timberwolves will travel to Texas to face off against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.

As for the Nets, they dropped to 17-27 in their first 44 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
