Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's Viral Instagram Post After Thunder-Jazz Game
On Thursday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder faced off against the Utah Jazz (in Salt Lake City).
The Thunder won the game by a score of 134-129, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 31 points, six rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block while shooting 8/15 from the field in 35 minutes of playing time.
Following the game (on Friday), the All-Star guard made a post to Instagram that had over 245,000 likes in less than four hours.
Gilgeous-Alexander captioned his post: "i am not in Ireland but these boys keep Dublin"
With the victory, the Thunder improved to 28-13 in their first 41 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Confernece.
They are 6-4 over their last ten games and are 12-8 in the 20 games they have played on the road away from Oklahoma City.
Following the Jazz, the Thunder will now face off against Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Saturday evening.
Gilgeous-Alexander has been sensational so far this season, and is averaging 31.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.2 steals per contest while shooting 55.2% from the field and 32.4% from the three-point range in 40 games.
As for the Jazz, they dropped to 22-21 in their first 43 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Confernece
They are 8-2 over their last ten games and 15-6 in the 21 games they have hosted in Salt Lake City.
Following the Thunder, the Jazz will visit the Houston Rockets on Saturday.
