Steph Curry Made NBA History In Warriors-Nuggets Game
On Monday afternoon, the Golden State Warriors are in Denver facing off against the Nuggets.
Steph Curry is playing in his 910th career game, which moves him ahead of Hall of Famer Artis Gilmore and ties Steve Kerr and Nick Collison for 247th on the NBA's all-time regular season games played list.
Following Kerr and Collison, the next player for Curry to pass will be Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman (911).
Curry came into the day with averages of 28.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest while shooting 47.0% from the field and 42.1% from the three-point range in 27 games.
At 35, he still remains among the ten best players in the league and has shown no signs of slowing down.
The Warriors got off to a slow start to the season but are now one of the hottest teams in the league.
They are 15-14 in their first 29 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.
In addition, the Warriors are in the middle of a five-game winning streak and most recently beat the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 126-106.
Curry is in his 15th season in the NBA (all with the Warriors) and will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer one day.
The former Davidson star has led the Warriors to four NBA Championships (and six Finals appearances) since the 2015 season.
Following the Nuggets, the Warriors will host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat on Thursday evening at the Chase Center.
