Stephen Curry Made NBA History In Warriors-Kings Game 4 On Sunday

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry made history in Game 4 against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.

Stephen Curry is the face of the Golden State Warriors and one of the faces of the NBA.

Playing against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series, the Warriors' star made NBA history with his 32-point performance.

Through the first four games of this series, Curry has now scored 126 total points, joining the likes of Karl Malone (2000), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1983) and Michael Jordan (1998) as the only other players in league history to record at least 126 points through their team's first four postseason games at age 35 or older.

Curry is tied with Malone at 126 points, as Kareem had 133 points and Jordan still holds the record with 144 total points through his team's first four games.

Michael Jordan recorded at least 32 points in each of those first four games he played in the 1998 playoffs, a year in which the Chicago Bulls went on to win their third straight championship and sixth in the last eight years.

Stephen Curry has recoded at least 28 points in each of his first four playoff games this season and the Golden State Warriors are looking to pull off an eerily similar feat as Jordan's Bulls, as Golden State is looking for their second straight championship and their fifth in the last nine seasons.

Coincidently enough, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was teammates with Michael Jordan during that 1998 "Last Dance" championship team in Chicago and he is now looking to coach the Warriors to yet another title.

There are so many connections and parallels between Jordan and Curry, as well as the Bulls and Warriors, which is why it is only fitting that Steph Curry joins Michael Jordan on this illustrious list.

Evening up their series against the Kings after dropping the first two games on the road, the Warriors will travel back to Sacramento for Game 5 on Wednesday night. The winner of this game will take a 3-2 series lead before heading back to San Francisco for Game 6 on Friday.
