Steve Kerr's Honest Statement After Warriors-Thunder Game

Steve Kerr met with the media after the Golden State Warriors lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors were in Oklahoma, facing off against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The game was a thriller and went into overtime, but the Thunder were able to beat the Warriors by a score of 138-136.

One of the biggest reasons the Warriors lost was that they turned the ball over an astonishing 29 times.

After the game, head coach Steve Kerr met with the media and shared an honest statement (h/t Warriors on NBCS).

Kerr: "We're good enough. We're good enough to win a championship. I believe that. This team. But if we're gonna just turn it over and throw the ball to the other team and foul over and over, then we're gonna lose."

With the loss, the Warriors dropped to 10-12 in their first 22 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games and 5-6 in the 11 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center.

Steph Curry led the team with 34 points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal while shooting 10/20 from the field and 6/12 from the three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.

Following the Thunder, the Warriors will visit the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday evening in Arizona.

As for the Thunder, they improved to 14-7 in their first 21 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference.

They will play their next game on Monday when they host the Utah Jazz.
