Toronto Raptors Reportedly Signing 8-Year NBA Veteran

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Toronto Raptors will sign Justise Winslow.

UPDATE: The Raptors have officially signed Justise Winslow. 

Justice Winslow hasn't been in the NBA this season but has played in the G League for Raptors 905.

He is averaging 15.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field in 14 regular season games. 

On Saturday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the former Duke star is signing a ten-day deal with the Toronto Raptors.

Via Wojnarowski: "Free agent F Justise Winslow is signing a 10-day deal with the Toronto Raptors, sources tell ESPN. Winslow has been playing with the Raptors’ 905 G League team."

Winslow was the tenth pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and has played eight seasons in the league.  

He has been with the Miami Heat, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies. 

Over 344 regular season games, the 27-year-old has career averages of 8.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest while shooting 41.2% from the field and 31.5% from the three-point range. 

He has also appeared in 19 NBA playoff games. 

Last season, Winslow played in 29 games (11 starts) for the Trail Blazers. 

As for the Raptors, they are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 19-33 record in 52 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

On Saturday evening, the Raptors will host Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Canada. 

Following the Cavs, they will remain at home to play the San Antonio Spurs on Monday evening.
