Victor Wembanyama's Dunk Went Viral In Spurs-Jazz Game

On Sunday evening, the San Antonio Spurs faced off against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

The Jazz won by a score of 128-109, and star forward Lauri Markkanen led the way with 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block while shooting 10/18 from the field.  

During the game, rookie Victor Wembanyama had an exciting highlight that got a lot of views on social media.   

Wembanyama drove straight to the basket and finished off the play with a big dunk. 

He ended the night with 22 points, ten rebounds, two assists, one steal and five blocks while shooting 9/17 from the field.  

With the loss, the Spurs dropped to 11-47 in 58 games, which has them as the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference.  

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 1-9 over their last ten games. 

Following the Jazz, the Spurs will remain on the road and visit Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Tuesday evening.  

On the road, they are 6-26 in the 32 games they have played away from San Antonio. 

As for the Jazz, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 27-31 record in 58 games. 

With the victory, they snapped a five-game losing streak and are now 18-11 in 29 games at home. 

Following the Spurs, the Jazz will travel to Georgia to face off against Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday evening at State Farm Arena.
