Video Of Derrick Rose Going Viral

A video of Derrick Rose (Memphis Grizzlies) is going viral on social media.

Derrick Rose was once among the best players in the NBA and won the 2011 MVP Award as a member of the Chicago Bulls.

Unfortunately, he had the prime of his career derailed by injuries but has transformed into a solid role player.

Due to his early rise to stardom, Rose still has a large following and fans follow his career closely.

Recently, the former first-overall pick was seen at a Drake concert and, during the show, was playing Chess on his phone.

The video has gone viral all over social media (h/t Complex Sports and alainataughtyou IG).

Via Complex Sports: "Derrick Rose went to the Drake concert last night played Chess on his phone the entire time 😭"

The former Memphis star spent last year with the New York Knicks but fell out of the rotation and saw limited playing time during the season.

He averaged 5.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 38.4% from the field and 30.2% from the three-point range in 27 regular season games.

The Knicks made the second round of the NBA playoffs, but Rose only appeared in one postseason game.

This summer, he became a free agent and signed with the Memphis Grizzlies.

In addition to the Knicks, Rose has also played for the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

His career averages are 17.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest while shooting 45.6% from the field and 31.5% from the three-point range in 699 regular season games.
