VIRAL: Bam Adebayo Dunked On Nikola Jokic In Nuggets-Heat Game
On Wednesday evening, the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat are facing off in Florida for Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
The series is tied up at 1-1 after the teams split Games 1 and 2 at Ball Arena in Denver.
During the first half of Wednesday's game, All-Star center Bam Adebayo threw down a massive dunk on two-time MVP Nikola Jokic (the clip is going viral on social media).
Caleb Martin received a pass from Jimmy Butler but missed the layup, and Adebayo grabbed the rebound and finished off the impressive dunk.
Adebayo has been one of the most important players on the Heat this season and came into the night with averages of 17.5 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest while shooting 49.8% from the field through the first 20 games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
He is in his sixth season in the NBA (all with the Heat) and has helped lead them to the Playoffs for four straight seasons.
The Heat are in the middle of an unbelievable run through the Playoffs and are only the second 8th seed ever to reach the NBA Finals.
They have defeated the Chicago Bulls (play-in tournament), Milwaukee Bucks (first seed), New York Knicks (fifth seed) and Boston Celtics (second seed).
Meanwhile, the Nuggets are coming off a sensational regular season where they finished as the first seed in the Western Conference.
Through the first three rounds, they have beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.
