The Phoenix Suns crushed the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday by a score of 119-74.

Even in the preseason a 45-point blowout is something to be surprised by in an NBA game.

The Suns had All-Star shooting guard Devin Booker looking to be in top-notch form after a season in which he and the Suns made the Finals last year (losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games).

Booker went off for 17 points on 60% from the field and 50% shooting from the three-point range in just 18 minutes of action.

At just 25 years old, the two-time All-Star has not even hit his prime yet, which should be a scary sight for rival teams around The NBA.

This kind of performance in a meaningless preseason game after he went all the way to the Finals, and then to Tokyo to play in the Olympics for Team USA this summer (and win a gold medal), is impressive and shows that he is right on track for another big time season this year.

  • Harden Doesn't Get Foul Call: The NBA changed their rules on drawing fouls this season, and the preseason is already showing how it will influence superstars and the calls they got in past seasons. CLICK HERE
  • Grizzlies Lose Brooks For At Least A Few Weeks: Dillon Brooks averaged over 17 points per game for the Memphis Grizzlies, who made the Western Conference Playoffs last season. He will miss at least the next few weeks of action. CLICK HERE.
