UPDATE: The Pelicans lost by a score of 123-114, and Zion Williamson had 23 points, three rebounds and four assists.

On Wednesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans are playing Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.

During the game, two-time NBA All-Star Zion Williamson had a huge highlight that went viral on social media.

Naji Marshall threw a lob to the former Duke superstar, who finished off the play with a dunk.

Williamson is one of the most exciting players in the NBA and came into the evening with averages of 22.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists per contest while shooting 57.8% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range in 48 games.

The Pelicans are also having a very good season, as they are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 35-24 record in 59 games.

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and coming off a 115-92 victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden (on Tuesday evening).

Following Wednesday's game, the Pelicans will host the Pacers on Friday in New Orleans.

On the road, they are 18-12 in 30 games, while they have gone 17-12 in 29 games at home.

Williamson was the first pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and has played four seasons for the Pelicans (he missed the 2021-22 season).

There is an excellent chance he will be able to play in his first NBA playoff game this season.

As for the Pacers, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-26 record in 59 games.

They are 6-4 over their last ten games.
