On June 22, the 2023 NBA Draft will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Typically, the Draft features many trades and is one of the biggest nights of the offseason.

On Thursday, Brian Robb of MassLive reported that the Boston Celtics "have been active in trade talks."

Via Robb's article on MassLive: "A league source tells MassLive that the Celtics have been one of the more active teams in the league in trade talks ahead of Thursday’s draft."

The Celtics have been among the elite teams in the NBA over the past seven seasons.

In that span, they have made the Eastern Conference Finals an astonishing five times (and made the NBA Finals once).

This past year, they were the second seed and went 57-25 during the regular season.

After beating the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers in the first two rounds, the Celtics lost to the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Conference Finals.

Robb mentioned the Celtics' guard depth as a part of the roster they could look to trade.

Via Robb's article on MassLive: "The Celtics are particularly loaded in the backcourt with Marcus Smart, Derrick White, Malcolm Brogdon and Payton Pritchard all under contract for next season and the team is investigating moving a guard to improve other areas of the roster per a league source."

Considering the Celtics are one of the most high-profile teams in the NBA right now, this will be something to watch over the next few weeks.
