The NBA trading deadline is in less than four weeks, so a lot of rumors around the league have begun to heat up.

Among the most mentioned players who could be dealt has been Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray.

The 2022 NBA All-Star is currently averaging 20.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field and 38.6% from the three-point range in 39 games.

One of the latest reports about Murray comes from ESPN's Brian Windhorst (via The Hoop Collective podcast).

Via Windhorst: "I know that the Lakers and the Hawks have talked, and I know that it was like okay; check back after January 15. What Woj is saying is it's not just the Lakers. I know the Knicks have been tied in. I would keep an eye on the Nets."

Murray is only in his second season with the Hawks (after spending the first six years of his career with the San Antonio Spurs).

Last season, he helped the Hawks reach the NBA playoffs (they lost to the Boston Celtics in the first round).

However, the team has struggled this season and is currently the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-23 record in their first 39 games.

In addition to Windhorst's report, NetsDaily also confirmed that the Nets have an interest in Murray.

Via NetsDaily: "Told Nets do have interest in Dejounte Murray. As Brian Windhorst noted, keep an eye on Brooklyn."

As for the Nets, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-23 record in their first 39 games.
