According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Miami Heat are among the teams interested in Lamar Stevens.

Lamar Stevens is coming off a year where he averaged 5.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest while shooting 44.8% from the field and 31.6% from the three-point range in 62 regular season games for the Cleveland Cavaliers

The former Penn State star helped the Cavs make the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season.

Stevens appeared in two playoff games, and the Cavs lost to the New York Knicks in the first round.

This summer, the 26-year-old was traded to the San Antonio Spurs and waived.

He is currently a free agent available to be signed by any team in the league.

On Wednesday, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported intel from around the league and mentioned that the Miami Heat are among the four teams interested in Stevens.

Via Scotto's article on HoopsHype: "Free agent swingman Lamar Stevens has drawn interest from several teams, including the Celtics, Timberwolves, Rockets and Heat, HoopsHype has learned."

Stevens played four seasons for the Nittany Lions and went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft.

He has played all three seasons of his NBA career for the Cavs and has career averages of 5.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field.

As for the Heat, they are coming off a season where they were the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
