I believe the Golden State Warriors should consider signing three-time NBA Champion Danny Green.

The Golden State Warriors are coming off a season where they went 44-38 and were the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

They beat the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in seven games), but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round (in six games).

That said, the franchise has won four NBA Championships in the previous nine seasons and will be seen as a contender in 2024.

I believe they should consider signing three-time NBA Champion Danny Green for next season.

Why?

Green is one of the best role players in the history of the NBA.

He has been a contributor to many elite teams and won titles with the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers.

A player like that would fit in perfectly on the Warriors as a veteran to have off the bench.

According to StatMuse, Green has the third most wins in the NBA over the previous ten years (the only two players in front of him are Steph Curry and Draymond Green).

This past year, Green played 11 games for the Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers and averaged 5.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per contest while shooting 44.9% from the field and 43.2% from the three-point range.

The Warriors don't need to add much to their roster, but the addition of Green could prove to be valuable in the NBA playoffs, as he has played in an astonishing 169 postseason games.

Green is also an excellent three-point shooter and would be a significant veteran presence in the locker room.

He has career averages of 8.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 42.1% from the field and 40.0% from the three-point range.
