A Trade The Warriors And Bulls Must Consider

I believe the Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls should make a trade.

The Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls have both gotten off to disappointing starts to the 2023-24 NBA season.

The Warriors, who have won four NBA Championships since 2015, are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 17-19 record in their first 36 games.

Meanwhile, the Bulls, who have multiple recent All-Stars, are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-21 record in 37 games.

I believe that the Warriors and Bulls should consider swapping Andrew Wiggins and Nikola Vucevic

Why?

Wiggins has gotten off to a slow start to the season and is averaging 11.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest while shooting 42.2% from the field and 29.7% from the three-point range.

He made the NBA All-Star Game in 2022 and has been a significant part of the Warriors for several years, but it could be time for a change of scenery.

In addition, the former Kansas star is only 28 years old, so he is in the prime of his career.

Meanwhile, Vucevic is averaging 16.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest while shooting 45.1% from the field and 27.8% from the three-point range in 32 games.

He is one of the best centers in the NBA, but he is also 33 years old, so it would make sense for the Bulls to move him.

By acquiring Wiggins, the Bulls would get a much younger player and also have a potential replacement if they decide to trade DeMar DeRozan or Zach LaVine.

For the Warriors, they would be adding much-needed size to the roster and get a significant offensive boost to their starting lineup.
