Why Haven't The Phoenix Suns Signed This 5x NBA All-Star?

John Wall, who is a five-time NBA All-Star, still remains a free agent.

The Phoenix Suns, led by Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, have one of the most talented rosters in the NBA.

They will be a title contender this season, but having the right role players is what will help them ultimately win an NBA Championship.

Currently, the roster does not have a true point guard, and I believe they should consider signing five-time All-Star John Wall.

While Wall is a proven scorer, he is also one of the greatest passers in the history of the league, with a career average of 8.9 assists per contest.

Wall most recently played for the Los Angeles Clippers (last season) and averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest while shooting 40.8% from the field and 30.3% from the three-point range in 34 games.

He currently remains a free agent that is available to be signed by any team in the NBA.

At this point in his career, Wall could likely be signed for a veteran's minimum deal, so the Suns would have no risk in signing him.

He could play a role as a facilitator off the bench when Beal or Booker needs a rest.

In addition, Wall has experience playing with Beal, as the duo led the Washington Wizards to the NBA playoffs four times.

Wall was initially the first pick in the 2010 NBA Draft out of Kentucky, and has played 11 seasons in the league for the Wizards, Clippers and Rockets.

His career averages are 18.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field and 32.2% from the three-point range in 647 regular season games.
