Key Phoenix Suns Player Could Miss Timberwolves Game

The Phoenix Suns could be without one of their best players for Game 3.

UPDATE: Grayson Allen has been ruled out.

On Friday evening, the Phoenix Suns will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in Arizona for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, the Suns could be without one of their best players, as Grayson Allen is on the injury report.

Allen had three points, three rebounds and one steal while shooting 1/2 from three-point range in 17 minutes of playing time (in Game 2).

Via Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports on Thursday: "Grayson Allen (right ankle sprain) is officially listed as questionable for Game 3 tomorrow, as expected. Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery) remains out, not other additions to the Suns' injury report"

Allen had an excellent regular season with averages of 13.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest while shooting 49.9% from the field and 46.1% from the three-point range in 75 games.

The Suns are the sixth seed in the Western Conference and had a 49-33 record.

This is Allen's first year with the Suns (after getting traded via the Milwaukee Bucks over the offseason).
