As the riders and media got ready for the final round of the inaugural SuperMotocross finals Saturday night at The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where two series came together to create a competitive project in an ever-changing global marketplace, they sit under the same peristyles where the merger and plan for the playoffs were announced last year.

Now with a track build behind them and the major stakes advertised have been realized. This was the perfect time to announce what’s in store for 2024.

Pro Motocross and Supercross took the opportunity provided by the hype of this weekend to announce the track schedule for next year. As expected, Pro Motocross kept its schedule the same with all 11 rounds falling in the same order on the same weekends as this past season.

Since one of the major attractions of the Motocross summer season is camping, keeping this structure and consistency is important for continued fan engagement. You’re not going to tell the residents and Red Bud MX that they need to change their vacation dates.

Meanwhile, Supercross saw some major changes as it will go to five tracks that were not visited this past season, along with three brand new venues.

Starting off with San Francisco, Oracle Park falls in the week after the iconic A1, as the riders have the chance to stay in California for four weeks circulating from the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim Calif. on Jan 06, 2024, to Oracle Park in San Francisco, back down the coast to Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego before returning to Angel Stadium to close out January.

The Motor City match-up moves up a month and will be the first visit after leaving the Golden State as the riders invade the Lions' Den of Ford Field on February 3rd before heading south for their Glendale, Ariz. and Arlington, Tex. dates.

Daytona International Speedway is the only Speedway on the schedule this year, with Atlanta rotating out for the season, the event will -- as is tradition -- fall during Daytona Bike Week, bringing an electric atmosphere to Round 8 as Eli Tomac goes for an unprecedented eighth consecutive win.

The riders stay down south for Round 9 and visit Birmingham, Ala. for the first time. Protective Stadium will host the first race in the state since the 1984 Talladega date won by 2x Supercross Champion Jeff Ward.

The march continues with Indianapolis and Seattle settled into the middle of March before Round 12 returns to The Dome at America’s Center, as St. Louis, Mo. reenters the schedule.

MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford rotates out and Foxboro, Mass., in for Round 13, even without football being played by someone these stadiums get pit against each other. Gillette Stadium will host the only New England date of the 2024 schedule.

Nissan Stadium which hosted the notorious ‘CRASHville’ round of the 2023 season stays before riders head East with just three rounds to go.

Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. is the final new venue of 2024. While Supercross ran a doubleheader in the City of Brotherly Love in 1980, it was at the now-demolished John F. Kennedy Stadium.

The final two rounds stay the same with Empower Field at Mile High in Denver Colo, hosting the penultimate race and Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City holding on to the series finale.

The three rounds of the 2024 SuperMotocross Playoffs are rumored to be announced to the public during A1 at the start of the Supercross season.
