The new documentary, "Racing with Giants: Porsche at Le Mans," created by Mobil 1, is now live on YouTube.

This captivating film celebrates Porsche's storied legacy at Le Mans and the love of driving shared by both Porsche and Mobil 1. Look back at the last 100 years of Le Mans and 75 years of Porsche’s dominance through the film to prepare for this year’s race taking place June 10-11.

Featuring archival footage from Le Mans, firsthand interviews from former and current racing drivers and notable collectors/enthusiasts, mixed with modern footage of iconic and production Porsches, “Racing with Giants: Porsche at Le Mans” has brought the Porsche history to life with the feel of a riveting sports docuseries!

The documentary, which premiered Thursday night in Brooklyn, NY, features some of the most famous Le Mans’ cars in its history along with their storied drivers.

“Racing with Giants: Porsche at Le Mans” is a one hour, long-form special that connects the race cars to the road cars they inspired, showcasing Porsche’s 75th Anniversary and dovetailing it into the 100th anniversary of the running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER ROBERT DALRYMPLE

Robert Dalrymple is a two-time Primetime Emmy Award and Peabody Award winner. His documentaries have included “Billy Joel in the USSR” and “Billy Crystal Midnight Train to Moscow” for HBO.

Other credits include “Howard Hughes: His Women in His Movies” for TNT and Bruce Willis in Sam Shepard’s “True West” for Showtime. Robert is also the co-founder of the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the CBS show, “Superbowl Greatest Commercials” for which he continues to serve as producer.

He has also produced several motorsports TV specials including films on Nigel Mansell, A winning Strategy documentary on the improbable Indy 500 win by Alexander Rossi and numerous documentaries for Porsche including “Decades of Disruption.”
