F1 News: Ferrari's New Racing Suits Backfire In Hilarious Tweet

They might have added some extra fries.

The Scuderia Ferrari F1 team got special race suits made for Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in Le Mans livery as a tribute to their Le Mans outfit for its victory at the 24-hour race which prevented Toyota from taking its seventh championship. The victory comes after a long gap of 58 years.

The suits would be worn at the upcoming Italian GP at Monza. However, the design has backfired a bit after the Ferrari drivers unveiled the suits, posing for the team's social media. The suits attracted ridicule on social media platforms like X where fans reacted to Ferrari's tweet.

Despite fans questioning the looks of the new suits, Leclerc said This is my favorite overall so far" while Sainz played it safe by calling it "a mix between old school and new school.” Hilariously, fans have related the colors of the suit- predominantly Red and Yellow with the suits worn by the personnel at fast food outlets like McDonalds.

Here's a hilarious tweet, edited with precision.

However, a few fans are divided over the tweet in deciding whether the suits resemble petrol bunk attendants or employees working at DHL.

Here are a few tweets that just stand out.

While a small percentage of fans approved of it, some were kind enough to offer advice that would improve things a bit. One fan said:

"If you change the black parts on the suits to white, you will win. Give it a try and see. Remove all black paints on the car as well (ah just the livery....leave the tyres on)"

One fan looked in a new direction altogether by leaving the suits aside. But he makes sense:

"What if Ferrari concentrated on preparing for the competition, training engineers and mechanics, practicing wheel changes, working on strategies, and developing the car instead of new and new marketing campaigns?"'

Sadly though, no advice would come in handy at this point in time when it's too late. The damage has been done already.
